Road track machine - factory

It could be a bit naive idea, but with all existing huge railway track laying machine and giant tunneling machine  why there is still no such thing for usual roads.

Even though it could be adopted for traditional rock + sand bedding and asphalt surface roads I suggest to have shallow water like small bridges (only small piles every 5 m)

Parallel car lift parking

May be there is something already, but as always didn't find so my car parking offer:

There are many different types of mechanical two or more story parking (most of them dependent), however, no those where cars are in parallel parking. (narrow ground garage).
The yellow scissors are not the best solution, but could be cheap enough to exist. I am sure the bottom only mechanism could be designed (don't remember now how to draw it - like a top kitchen cabinet hinge).

All turning wheels

With electronic actuators it is possible to create computer controlled turning mechanism for all the wheels of vehicles. (if not mistaken some car producers already working on it).  When all wheels are in control it changes the way a car may drive.  Just turn computer to special parking mode and voila:

Imagine a long bus like a caterpillar which can go behind the cabin. With computer guided control, no worries to cut the corner. But if necessary even slow parallel shift is possible.

Hey I found some conformation:

Road surface

Asphalt road surface has cracking problem due to ice in winter. It tends to tear up in wheel paths.

To solve this issues my offer:
Instead of one monoliths layer of asphalt the composite concrete mash patches could be joined together.  Some road concrete blocks joined with string like tightening floor. Using the same idea but with road patches (50*100 cm for instance) we could easily just damaged parts.

The cones like hole structure of the product will push the ice downward, and some extra mesh probably will make it more robust.

Helicopter with rotating push rotor

The new Sikorsky S-97 model which uses the  push rotor to speed up the flight I am more and more sure that half turned back rotor as awkward it may look will find its way.

Coaxial counter-rotating main rotors stabilize the rotational torque of the helicopter to get rid of the traditional back rotor (as in Russian KA 52).  But the second row of blades with extra controls and transmission complicate the machinery, hence cost...

My offer is to leave one traditional row of blades, but turn the back rotor with a counted angle.

I think such attempts were made before, however, they probably used mechanical synchronization. Nowadays with all the quadrocopters and electronically changed fan speed it could be possible to precisely adjust the compensation speed. The part of the back rotor energy will push the helicopter forward  ( the main rotor will speed up or turn to "forward" as well). If not mistaken such helicopter will have to move forward from the beginning (slowly up and forward, without any runway) - if so it is noticeable but still acceptable restriction in many fields.

If hovering is essential, the angle turning mechanism could be added. Just turn to traditional position...

Benefits cheaper than S-97 and faster traditional.

Magnetic bath curtain

To solve the "water between the wall and a curtain when having shower" problem it is useful to have some magnets.
The insect mesh with two side magnets (one on the wall) is good, but I think if you insert a metal rod on the side of the curtain and a magnet on the wall it would be easier to grab, pull and clicked.

You may adjust the height of the rod to prevent the blind spot. They have holes in which you pin them to any curtain.
The elastic band from outside of the bath will prevent the bubbling inside effect (tightening between walls).

Compact size could be archived if make as foldable ruler.

PS the zipping solution seems to be unpractical to me.

Continuous zip

Most probably it should be somewhere on the market, however, basic research had no exact result.

Traditional zip is made from metal (now from hard plastic) - the chess cell order with small common surface of two parts lead to common zip issues (jamming, uncontrolled unzipping).

The simple solution is to use with some adaptation reclosable bag slider zip like this

In my opinion it is not to hard to find the right elasticity proportion to make the flat like zipper in a jacket.

Most probably the switch mechanism should be longer than normal zip (due to narrow angel of the tube). Inside the C half of the shape there should be the guide (internal walls) opening the them to U or <  like shape for easier connection.

top of the cylinder

To make the spread of the fuel in the cylinder (combustion engine) more symmetrical the valves should be circle similar shape.

The Electric solenoids push pull the valves controlled by computer. No jammed parts (if timing belt teared apart), no mechanical synchronization (chain...). Wider opening space for gases (more than 2+2 valves) provide speed and better compression.

Epicyclic gearing Engine

Although, I think EV vehicles (= electrical engines) and fuel cell technology will eventually eliminate the need for any thermodynamic engines there is a niche for hybrid systems.

Conventional internal combustion engine (including diesel) don't use all the possible range. The
LiquidPiston managed to get some progress:

http://www.gizmag.com/liquidpistol-rotary/24623/

Scuderi mentioned as main improvement in his Engine: shift the fire time from top dead position and essentially pressuring up the fuel mixture.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scuderi_engine

In my hypothesis there is a chance to achieve even more. Here it is:

The cylinder is much longer to make use of the volume (extend the use of the right tail = low left energy; and more pressuring mixture for up to to diesel level).  On the right site there is a solar gear connected to electric motor with super capacitors.  With or without Electric plugs  - depends on the final pressure.
It is basically the same 4 cycle engine directly connected to electric motor. One cylinder to one electric motor (however possible to find some 2 to 1 or other variations). There is no need for usual chain synchronization - one cylinder is all we need.

How it works
Fire Strike - The solar gear with electrically adjusted motion (like injectors controlled by computer)  transfer energy to electric motor which quickly charge the super capacitor. Gear ratio could be optimized maximizing the energy taken from volume expansion cycle.
Fumes Out -  When the energy is taken away than magnets switched back to push the piston back. The off valve opens to get rid of the fumes - Electric motor will take some energy from capacitor to move the piston in.
Fuel in - as conventional vacuum or some external turbine. The same saved energy used to move the piston. The point is that electrical motor have efficiency of up to 98% with capacitor losing more to may be 90% which is still more than mechanical system.
Compression - the main energy consumer phase. Again solar gear plus capacitors with computer optimized timing I believe will make it better than neighbor cylinder.

Long size = surface could be useful not only for pressurizing but for air cooling with bigger radiators probably eliminating the water cooling system.

If works the system should be much simpler and eventually much cheaper.

Computer controlled piston movement closed the dead zone issue.

The excess electricity goes to electric motors to drive... or charge the house...

Dyson like airplane electrical fan engines

as always just concept idea

Dyson fan invention claim to be more efficient even though it takes less front surface area i.e. less air drag (assume).
If so, it is natural to see such technology in future electric planes. I published one concept before where the cycle fan round the main body. Here I offer to use it in the wing itself.
The longer the wing the better the lift. Even though such plane would fly slower (fans gets less efficient after 700 km/h), but it could be used in information air satellites (science solar panels planes like Solar Impulse, WiFi providing Google and Facebook planes) or in cargo planes where time of the flight is not as crucial as price.

Turbo Fan Electronic Mosquito Repellent

There are several Mosquito Repellents on the market. The Liquid Electric is probably the best option so far for flats or units. They look like this:

However, a couple of disadvantages lead me for this post: you need to have the socket close to your bed, it takes time 30-60 min to fill the room (but you want to sleep now).
My solutions:
1) to put some extension cable inside. And I found such product:

2) To add a Turbo button to activate small fan. When pressed the fan speeds up (and heater works twice as hot) for 5 minutes, if pressed twice - 10 minutes. No need for oily plates.

Ah, some extra research found the very close product, just need to add some fan. dhgate.com/product/electric-heating-texhong-liquid-repellent/166416425.html

Classical gas kettle

Although it is more convenient to use an electric kettle, but there still will be a place for a gas one. The only disadvantage is that it takes more time to boil water with gas kettle.
If we made funnel-like bottom of the kettle with  spiral / helix tube which goes trough water we could add the hot surface, increase the convection to speed up the boiling.  (more than one helix could be added).

punctioned sousepan lid

To get rid of water in the pan without colander is enough to have a few holes in the lid. Cover it with silicon cover if you need more or less cooking pressure. Grab doubled panhandles (one on pan one on lid) and pour it.

Blade stack

This new nasa test plane is promising for electric drones.

My upgrade idea is to add propellers in one line to reduce the drag. Even though stack up propellers are not as efficient, we use them only in take off mode. Than the axis moves down joining several of them in one.

Blades could be inserted in each other with flexible skin.
