More detectors - IR, 3 cameras

This post is more a proposal - lets vote for more detectors is better.
I strongly believe - the more detectors in our gadgets we have the more opportunities and unexpected benefits.

Take the IR light emitter, which use to be in cell phones. Since it's cheap, your phone with such component could be used not only as universal remote control,  but possibly as a  glucose detector (need emitter + detector), counterfeit money detection, simple night vision, infrared thermometer, gas and liquid testing...

3 cameras on computers is also do not add to much cost to laptops, but creates possibility for 3D screening, gesture recognition and better observation.

Looking for examples I found conformation that with multiple cameras it easy to create eye to eye video chat.

However, I am sure it is much better to put them apart as far as possible to maximize the angle. The extra cameras do not have to be the same quality, they create support information for algorithms.

With 3 cameras the eye computer control will be cheap and will be used not only by disabled but to faster processing for every person.

And again if we put more detectors it will open more than we expected. Take leap motion and MS kinect like cameras
